Bala means 'child' and Vidyalaya means the ' inner flowering of knowledge'.
Bala Vidyalaya is a new initiative to bridge the gap in the modern education system teaching children life skills making them leaders of tomorrow. The lessons are based on the teachings of  Integrity, Authenticity, Responsibility and Enriching by Paramahamsa Nithyananda. They are available free for parents and teachers to enrich children around the world.

Live Life Laughing

Kids never laugh only by mouth, they laugh with the whole body. When you laugh through the whole body your whole body if flooded with energy. That is why kids are so alive but we people are actually jealous with kids. That is why we try to control them by ordering, ' Keep quiet! Sit still! Sit straight!Sit in a corner! Who asked you to draw on the wall?' Never think you are helping your kids; you have a subtle kind of jealousy. You are not able to manage, you are not able to put up with the energy bubbling up within them. So much joy is too much for us.That is why we always control our kids. Being a parent is one of the most challenging jobs in the world and every parent needs an inner awakening to identify all the help needed to nurture and educate their children for success. As an education and support program, Nithyananda Parenting is designed to provide parents with diverse parenting styles, the necessary knowledge, tools and techniques to raise happy children in a stress free environment. These  parenting classes will help a parent link to guaranteed and holistic solutions on child psychology and understand the infinite possibilities to their own potential.
The en parenting workshops are taught by Gurukul teacher, Ma Advait via Skype live from India. Ma Advait has many years experience as a teacher within Paramahamsa Nithyananda's enlightened school system. The workshop is suitable all of us who interact with children enabling us to support them in achieving their highest possibility.

Satvic Cooking

'To many Western people it might come as a surprise to know that there is a finer aspect to vegetarian food. This refinement helps the energy flow in our body. This pure food is called satvic food. When we adhere to a satvic vegetarian diet, we do not consume garlic, onions, or green chilies (jalapeno peppers) in any form.. It keeps us light and active throughout the day. ‘Why should we avoid these foods? Garlic, onion, and green chilies contain natural steroids in them. They are ideal medicines.’ We can inject them as medicines, but not as a regular part of our meals. Daily intake of these as food will bring down our energy flow. Similarly, tea and coffee are not good for our system as they actually over-stimulate our body and leave us tired. Now you know why people run for a caffeine fix! Meat, alcohol, and cigarettes are considered lethargy inducing items. These foods or habits induce laziness in us. Using these substances make us dull and disturb the energy flow in our body. These foods create a feeling of depression in the morning. It is possible to support the cause for vegetarianism only from the point of view of practicality. '

Shredded carrots, chopped coriander/cilantro, salt, lime juice and tadka(Heat about a tsp oil, add mustard and let it pop, then add some hing and chillies) Mix these and ENJOY!!
